CETIN ALTUN (President)
Cetin Altun was born in Zonguldak in 1960. In 1978 he graduated from the Vocational High School of Industry.
The same year he began to work in Turkish Hard Coal Enterprises. In 1986 he was elected Financial Secretary of the Karadon Branch of General Mine Workers Union. After two terms of work he became the branch president. At the 5th ordinary congress he was elected Secretary of Training. He kept his post at the extraordinary congress held in 12 October 1997. At the 6th ordinary congress held in 6.14.15 August 1999 he was elected president. Altun was elected Secretary of Training at the congress of TURK-IŞ held in 5-6 December 1999. Altun has got a son.
RAHMI YAMAN
(Vice President)

He was born in 1959 in Karadeniz Eregli. He finished his primary education in Armutcuk. He finished Karadeniz Eregli High School. He began work in 1978 in Armutcuk as a shotfirer and dynamite granary worker. He was elected General Secretary of Armutcuk Branch in 1989. In 1992 and 1995 congresses he was elected Branch President. Yaman became Vice-President of General Mine Workers Union at the extraordinary congress held in 12 October 1997. Yaman kept his post also in the sixth congress held in 1999. Yaman is married and has two kids.
DURSUN OGUZ 
(Vice President)

He was born in Devrek in 1960. He finished his primary education in Kozlu. He graduated from Kozlu High School. In 1984 he began to work in the Kozlu Directorate of Turkish Hard Coal Enterprises as a pickman. He also worked as a time-keeper and bureau officer. He was the vice-president of Kozlu Branch during 1992-1995. He was elected vice-president at the extraordinary congress held in 12 October 1997. He was elected again to the same post at the 6th ordinary congress. Oguz is married and has two kids..
MUSTAFA DAGLIOGLU (General Secretary)

Daglioglu was born in Hisaronu in 1953. He finished his education in Hisaronu. In 1972 he began to work at the transportation directorate of Turkish Hard Coal Enterprises. In 1975 he became a time-keeper. In 1986 he was the chief of the service. Between 1992-1995 he was the head representative of the Central Services Department. At the extraordinary congress held in 12 October 1997 he was elected General Secretary. He was elected again to the same post at the 6th ordinary congress. Daglioglu is married and has 2 kids.
IRFAN AKYIGIT 
(Financial Secretary)
Akyigit was born in Caycuma in 1959. He is a graduate of Zonguldak High School of Commerce. In 1979 he began work in the Karadon Directorate of Turkish Hard Coal Enterprises. In 1986 he was the workplace representative of Kilimli. 
In 1989 he was elected vice-president of the Karadon Branch, at the extraordinary congress held in 1 March 1992 he became the Financial Secretary of General Mine Workers Union. He kept his post on the 4th ,5th and the 6th congresses. Akyigit is married and has 3 kids.

RAMIS MUSLU
(Secretary of Organization)

Muslu was born in Caycuma in 1958. He finished his primary education in Caycuma. In 1981 he began work as a pickman at the Uzulmez Directorate. After working three years as a pickmen he became a shotfirer. In 1990 he was an overman. Begining from 1983 he was involved with the trade union and took part in the action as a delegate and representative. In 1995 he became the president of Uzulmez Branch. He was elected Secretary of Organization at the 6th congress. Muslu is married and has 3 kids.

 RAMAZAN SARIBAŞ (Secretary of Training)

Sarıbas was born in Caycuma in 1956. He finished his primary education in Gelik Private Elementary School, than went to the Kilimli High School. In 1978 he began to work in Gelik Directorate of the Turkish Hard Coal Enterprises. Later on he worked for 19 years as a locomotive mechanist. In the 1995 congress of the Karadon Branch he was elected Secretary of Organization. He kept his post also at the congress of March 1999. Sarıbas also worked as the member of the Municipality Assembly. At the 6th ordinary congress of General Mine Workers Union held on 6.14.15 August 1999 he was elected Secretary of Training. Sarıbas is married and has 4 kids.
